Are Air Cadets permitted to fly?

Yes, all Air Cadets are given the opportunity for familiarization glider flights as part of their regular training. Further opportunities in powered aircraft may be available.

999 Sqn is fortunate to have Barry Smith on our Sponsoring Committee. Barry is the owner and Chief Flying Instructor of Ontario Fun Flyers (O.F.F.), an accredited flying school and private career college at Kingston's Norman Rogers Airport. 999 Sqn cadets usually get one or two opportunities per year to go for a familiarization flight at O.F.F.
