Are there travel opportunities?

Yes. Air Cadets travel to camps and courses held in different parts of Canada and each year large groups of Air Cadets visit the United States, Britain and Continental Europe under an international "get acquainted" plan.

Are you between the ages of 12 – 18 ?
Do you enjoy fun, challenge, adventure and making new friends?
Then the Canadian Cadet Program is for you.
At cadets you can participate in: wilderness training, flying, drill, sports, rifle range, band, citizenship tours, national or international exchanges, along with a wide and varied local training syllabus.

There is no cost to join - uniforms and training are provided.

About Air Cadets
:

The Air Cadet League of Canada envisions the Royal Canadian Air Cadets as Canada’s premier world class youth development movement. Being attuned to societal changes,it strives diligently to be a totally dedicated, proactive and innovative partner to encourage and enhance the development of well adjusted, civic minded youth to undertake leadership roles in a great Canada and a better world.

Since the Air Cadet League of Canada came into being in April 1941, close to one million young Canadians have participated in the training program. It is estimated that in one way or another, 500,000 Canadians are involved in the Air Cadet Movement today.  READ MORE...

 

 About the Ontario Provincial Committee:
The main areas of responsibility for the Ontario Provincial Committee include:

  • Formation of new squadrons
  • Assisting with the recruitment of officers and cadets into the program
  • Maintaining our fleet of 10 tow planes and 20 gliders which has been valued in excess of $600,000
  • The administration guidance and support of Sponsoring Committees in the province of Ontario

- formed on June 1st, 2005,  999 is a relatively new Squadron in the west end of Kingston, Ontario.
