Two Fundraising Initiatives Underway

Information on two fundraising initiatives has gone home with cadets.

OPC Lottery

The Ontario Provincial Committee of the Air Cadet League runs a lottery annually.  Each cadet is responsible to sell one book of twenty tickets at $2.50 per ticket.  Cadets should pick up their tickets at the earliest opportunity.  Cadets must sign for the book of tickets and provide a $50 postdated cheque which will be returned when the ticket stubs and proceeds are brought in to the Squadron.

The prizes are fantastic and the tickets normally sell well.  Will this be the year the grand prize ticket comes from 999?

Gift Card Sales

This is an exciting new fund raising effort which does not required the cadet or their familiy to purchase anything which they were not already going to buy!  999 is selling gift cards to a large variety of the merchants include grocery stores, gas stations and department stores.  The gift certificates are sold at face value and merchants share a portion of the sale with the Squadron.  Information and an order form went home with each cadet on 7-November and the first order is due on 21-November.  Please help us to meet our financial requirements when you make your purchases.
