What do the Air Cadets learn?

Air Cadets study flying, navigation, meterology, jet and rocket propulsion, photography, leadership, citizenship, survival skills and many other subjects designed to assist them in preparing for future careers.  Air Cadets is especially valuable for those who have an interest in Canada's aviation sector, but is beneficial in creating leaders for all sectors of Canadian society.

Returning Cadet Info

Attention Returning Cadets!

Cadets and Parents:

Summer is almost over! Where did it go?

We have an exciting year planned:

  • A Christmas band concert with the other local Cadet units.
  • Hosting an inter-provincial exchange.
  • Gliding
  • Ground School.
  • Band
  • Exertion
  • Drill Team and so much more!

All this starts on 13 Sept, a few weeks away. In preparation, we will be having an admin night on Sept 7 from 1900 - 2000hrs at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Manitou Cr. W, Amherstview. There you can find 2Lt Peters and CV Pattison to confirm your return and fill out some paperwork. Maj. Doucet will be there to fill out any need supply issues (Replace small uniform parts).

Every returning cadet should plan on being there to make sure everything is up to date. In order to be ready, everyone needs to do the following:

-Try on your uniform and figure out what you have out grown so we can order replacements.

-You should have received this message by email also.  Reply to the e-mail and let us know if you are coming back or not. Also let us know what you are interested in participating in (Band, Range, Ground School, Drill Team, Exertion, Other...)   If you did not receive the email please send your current contact information to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

-Shine your shoes and get a hair cut. Lets start the year looking as sharp as we can!

-Invite your friends to join us! Keep checking your e-mail for the weeks to come as we send out more details of the new year. --
